1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Reborn mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all users of Reborn, including users who access the App through Apple's App Store.
2. Description of the Service
Reborn is a personal development and habit-tracking application that helps users build and maintain daily routines, track fitness and wellness goals, and connect with friends for mutual accountability. The App may access device capabilities including Apple HealthKit (with your permission) to validate challenge completion.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Reborn.
- If you are between 13 and 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
- By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at reborn.app.contact@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You may not create an account on behalf of another person or use another user's account without their express permission.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the App.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent data (e.g., faking challenge completion).
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or other users' accounts.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these rules.
6. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
Reborn may offer premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions or one-time purchases, processed exclusively through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's payment terms.
- Billing: Subscriptions are charged to your Apple ID at the time of purchase and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Refunds: All refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
- Free trials: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited upon purchase of a subscription.
7. Health Disclaimer
Reborn is a wellness and habit-tracking tool and is not a medical device or medical service. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new fitness or wellness program.
We are not liable for any injury, health issue, or damage arising from activities undertaken based on challenges or content within the App.
8. Intellectual Property
All content within the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, audio, and software — is the property of Reborn or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works.
9. User Content
If you submit any content to the App (e.g., profile information, messages to friends), you grant Reborn a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App.
You retain ownership of any content you submit. You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe the rights of any third party.
10. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully — it explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can delete it.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Reborn and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim (or €10 if you have not made any payment).
13. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. You can also delete your account via Settings → Account → Delete my account in the App.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. Continued use of the App after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
